John Alessio earned a unanimous decision victory against Luiz “Buscape” Firmino at Superior Cage Combat in Las Vegas on November 4th. It was John's ninth win in his last ten fights! John's well rounded skills and experience are making him a nightmare for opponents!

Congratulations to John for earning his brazilian jiu jitsu purple from Robert Drysdale. It's never been a secret that John trains hard in all aspects of the sport and earning this promotion proves that no matter how experienced and talented a fighter may be, improvement never ends. No doubt John is already working towards his next goal.

Alessio Victorious at Superior Cage Combat!

John Alessio showed that he is a complete mixed martial artist in his fight against Shawn Fitzsimmons at Superior Cage Combat in Las Vegas. Throughout the first round he displayed his standup skills, snapping his jab into Shawn's face again and again. In the second, he Put Fitzsimmons to sleep with a rear naked choke. Another fine performance by "The Natural"! Stay tuned for John's next challenge!

Alessio Returns to the Cage at Superior Cage Combat 2

Denaro welterweight John Alessio(31-14) will be making his return to the cage on August 20th at Superior Cage Combat 2. He will be facing Waachiim Spiritwolf (9-8-1) , a San Diego native that has competed in such organizations as Strikeforce, Bellator, and King of the Cage.
Alessio, also a veteran of multiple organizations himself, is coming off a loss to Siyar Bahadurzada, who he fought this past March in Belgium.
This 170-lb matchup will co-headline the event, which will take place at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
