Despite a fantastic first round against tough Shane Roller, John Alessio came up short in the final decision at UFC 148. It was a very close fight and John put on a great show for the fans. Nobody gets an easy fight against John!

Alessio Loses Decision at UFC 145

John Alessio's return to the UFC was a tough one. Facing one of the toughest grapplers in the division, Mark Bocek, is not exactly a warm up fight. But John stepped in on late notice and put on a great show for the fans. Unfortunately the judges awarded the unanimous decision to Bocek however John surely has impressed the UFC fans and should get another shot soon!
